Things around here can be confusing at first so let me explain things that confused me when I joined Kidizen Years and years ago. And a few things other moms have asked me!

But first let's talk about shipping!

When buying from shipping hip you're supporting a small family shop. The quality is really impressive and the prints are beautiful. Way way better than cheap ones off amazon. I don't need to double bag with these!

📦Kidizen labels are recommended because they provide more protection for the seller. It's also more time consuming to ship with PayPal or going to Usps to buy a label. At this time (2020) it's hardly anymore expensive to buy a kidizen label. With the slight increase you're saving time and gaining more protection if something were to happen to your package during transit. If your package gets lost with a kidizen label you simply email them and they deal with it and you get your money. If you use Usps you have to deal with Usps and that's... well you probably know how much fun that is.

📬 If you plan on doing some major selling I recommend investing in a printer (my cheap ones are always better than my expensive ones 😒) AND investing in a shipping scale. I think mine was around $20 on amazon. You can also buy Kidizen labels or PayPal labels and print them for $.10 at staples but that's time consuming.
BUY ADHESIVE LABELS. Mine are only $.07 per label. So worth it.

📦 If you're just starting out and don't want to invest in a printer and scale you can skip the long post office lines and use the shipping kiosks that the post office Has. They only accept cards no cash. But it's much easier to use those at times.

BUMP / SHARE GROUPS
These are to help move your items to the top of the feed for people shopping.
-How they work
•A shop hosting will make a listing explaining the rules. All shops have slightly different rules but same same goal. There will be a start date and an end date. Everyday you will share the items from the other shops that signed up to do that particular group to help get sales.
•To share and item click the bottom
arrow on a photo (right and side) This is for iPhones. I'm not sure if it's the same for androids.
•Swipe over on the main imagine of this listing to see an example.

*Add ONS-these are items that are not to be purchased alone. These items are priced low & with shipping so high we prefer you purchase these with at least one other item. We spoke and Kidizen listened. So they added an option to exclude items from being purchased alone!!! Super exciting 🙂

*When someone messages you an offer or for a bundle deal I suggest turning off your shop discount so people don't take advantage and get an additional discount.

*Tagging-
▪️use the @ sign followed by the shop name.
▪️ If they have an apostrophe make sure to use that or you could be tagging the wrong shop.
▪️if the shop has an emoji in front of the name it might not pull up so do this 👇🏼
▪️ If you're having a difficult time tagging a shop click their name and head to their shop page. You will notice a second name under their shop name. Use that name to tag.

💰OFFERS
When someone carts an item you can now send them an offer. Don't be offended if they don't accept it or message you why they aren't accepting it. A lot of people will cart their favorite items just because they love the item. They might not have the funds to purchase yet or might be searching for the same or similar for various reasons.

💸As a buyer please understand the fees sellers have to pay. Shipping is around $3.75 for an average package of let's say a shirt. Then we have to pay Kidizen fees. We have shipping supplies to pay for. I like to add a little surprise in my packages when I can. Your tape, polymailers, ink, labels and paper. It adds up to sellers not being able to always give you the 50% off you want.

***AND A FEW TIPS***
❤️Always read the full description of an item!
❤️If you or your child accidentally purchase something in your cart or you just decide you don't want to purchase that item anymore, suck it up and just list it to resell. Don't make the seller cancel your order. It's rude. When you ask a seller to cancel an order it's actually a huge pain because now everyone that liked the item and had it saved in their favorites or had it in their cart doesn't know it's still available. You just made it more difficult for the seller to sell it again. Maybe someone else was getting ready to purchase it!
❤️ Always read the shop bio you're interested in purchasing from. Often times a lot of good info can be found there.
❤️Sometimes there isn't enough space to say everything you want or need to say. Just type everything in your notes on your phone then copy and paste it to the description.
❤️ The more descriptive you are on your listings the easier people searching for specific things will find it! If you have a white and gray polar bear t shirt don't just say "t-shirt" maybe someone is looking for exactly that! How will they find your listing?
❤️Baby sizes don't sell great so don't be discouraged if that's what you're selling and it's not selling. The older your kids get the easier to sell their clothes.

❤️ I recommend always private messaging someone rather than asking a question on their listings. It can be missed easily. YOU CAN ASK QUESTIONS ON THIS LISTING THOUGH ☺️

❤️remember we are all human and make mistakes.

⚪️ When leaving a review less than 5 stars really think about this. Did you message the seller to rectify the situation first? Was the long shipping time really their fault or Usps's fault? Would you want someone to show you some grace since you're human also and make mistakes? Was the situation really THAT awful?
