Incredible vintage green velvet dress with white puff sleeves and embroidered detail! This velvet is so soft and supple and really catches the light. I did a little research on the brand - Daddy's Girl by Charmose - and it looks like they started making kids clothes in the 1940s. Based on the style and material - and the 'V for victory' neckline on the pinafore, I'm guessing this dress is from the late 1940s. There are some repairs to the lace edge on the crinoline skirt and some dark stains on the front of the velvet pinnie - I have not tried to treat them as I'm afraid it might damage the velvet. The stains and repairs do not detract from the exquisite nature of this dress. It's just epic! 😘 #vintage #velvet #ooak
