Thank you SO much to my amazing customers and friends for supporting me. I have loved being part of this community!
Unfortunately I cannot stand by and watch a Resell site which should be a safe place for selling clothing and not a political platform profit from the exploitation of Black Lives Matter.
As an advocate and being on the front lines here in LA this issue affects us all and we must take it seriously. I understand the good natured intent behind the Shop for a Cause but you are profiting off tragedy. If you want to be a part of the solution DONATE YOUR TIME, MONEY and VOICE. Not based on your sales. Show up at a peaceful protests. SHOW UP for your fellow citizens both with and without a voice. Be the change! Be a part of the solution WE ALL so desperately need! PLEASE! Selling clothing should have nothing to do with it. To those donating 100% of your profits, I commend you.
BUT, Kidizen should be donating independently as a company instead of off the profits we as shops make them. Imagine how much stronger the message would have been if Kidizen stood up and donated on their own volition and not based on matching donations made by shops profits.
