Lilac & Other Pretty Purple Shades

"When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloomed...." I've always loved the opening lines of that Walt Whitman poem. And lilacs. And their color. Lilac is such a gorgeous shade of purple. It reminds me of flowers, springtime, Easter.
